The Chicago South Asian Arts Council’s (CSAAC) mission is to advance diversity in Chicagoland through cinema, conversation and culture. In 2010, the non-profit organization founded the Chicago South Asian Film Festival (CSAFF) to provide South Asian artists a platform to showcase their talent and perspectives through films, music, art. The festival includes premiere films, panel discussions, speaker series, industry workshops, opportunities for filmmakers and film lovers to connect and network, musical and dance performances, and tributes and awards to artists’ achievements.
The CSAFF team consists of a group of dedicated volunteers who donate their time and skills to provide the Chicagoland audience with an opportunity to enjoy and appreciate these talented filmmakers’ works.
With your support, we will be able to better serve our audience and filmmakers as well as provide a platform for aspiring filmmakers in addition to unprecedented exposure.
As always, we owe immense gratitude to our vibrant, film-loving and loyal audience who has made the festival a great success year after year with their continuous support.
