Director
Eelum Dixit is a Nepali filmmaker who got is Masters in Film and TV Production from the USC School of Cinematic Arts. He has transferred his knowledge gained from theater to create naturalistic dramas in which he often uses non-actors if the role suits. His filmography includes Red Monsoon (2012) and Kichkandi (2018).
Director’s Note: In these chaotic times people around the world seem to be talking about migration, but so much of the debate seems to be about in-migration and how migrants will affect the host nation. What about the migrants story? What are the diverse reasons for leaving their homes? What about the people s/he leaves behind? Aren’t those stories important?
