Director
Shubhankar is a young filmmaker from India. He is a great representative of the diversity of India as he moved around a lot. Change was a part of his routine. There was always one “constant” in his life, love for films (especially Bollywood). Shubhankar’s ambitions have taken a lot of turns, but in the hindsight, film was always his first choice. He has been making films for 4 years now. Starting from high-school, Shubhankar has successfully developed seven short films, one documentary and 3 plays thus far. Growing up in the colourful world of Bollywood, all of his films have that “masala” element to them. Shubhankar is a fan of learning and implements everything he learns into his work. After working for a bit as an independent filmmaker, he got a break in Bollywood as an Assistant Director for a feature film called Rakkhosh. Shubhankar is motivated to further his film career and is inclined towards making a name for himself, in order to pursue his passion for filmmaking.
