Kolam
Synopsis:
Kolam is an experimental art film inspired by the beautiful lives of the Aurovillians. Auroville is a Utopian township in Tamil Nadu, India, which is the vision of Shri Aurobindo’s spiritual collaborator Mira Alfassa, also known as ‘The Mother’.
This is an experiment on human unity formed in 1968, and with this film, we are celebrating the 50 glorious years of Auroville.
The film holds an original score with contributions from over 23 international artists and stunning visuals designing a profound narrative for Auroville.
It is a film that talks about the labour of creation and a universe on its own.
Auroville as a township needs global support and recognition.
With my film, I intend to provide a unique experience to every individual through the lens of spiritual awakening.
This is India’s first experimental art documentary which contains no language.
Our intent is for people to know about this beautiful Utopian township, and their way of living amid global agitation and stress.
