Director
Jaie is a South Asian writer-producer & writer-director from Chino Hills, California.
He studied as an undergrad at UCLA and had development & production internships at the Producers Guild, STARZ, Focus Features, and NBCUniversal (USA & SYFY).
In the last year, Jaie completed both Sundance Co//ab’s TV Writing program with Angela LeManna & Co//ab’s Directing course with Rebecca Murga.
In addition to writing & producing with the production company WalkGood Productions today, Jaie is the Writers Room program director for the Rickshaw Film Foundation, a non-profit aimed at uplifting South Asian artists & stories in the entertainment industry.
He is also a Board Member for WalkGood LA, a wellness & social justice nonprofit The inspiration for Jaie’s stories and his unique voice is rooted in the identity, history, & culture of his grandparents & parent’s journey from North India to Uganda & Kenya to South England to the Western United States.
